QUETA: Chief Secretary Balochistan, Captain (Retd) Fazeel Asghar has said that the completion of development schemes allocated in the PSDP of the current year would alter the lot of people.
Each penny of Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) is the trust of people which will accordingly be spent for the welfare of people, he said while presiding over a high level meeting held in connection with the progress review of PSDP for the fiscal year 2020-21, here on Monday.
Chief Secretary Balochistan directed the authorities to ensure timely completion of development schemes, adding that neither the quality of development schemes would be compromised nor delaying tactics in that regard could be tolerated.
The meeting thoroughly reviewed the development schemes of Communication Department, Education Department, Irrigation Department, Forest Department, Agriculture Department, Information Technology Department, Health Department, Sports Department, Tourism Department, Women Development Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Energy Department, Industries and other departments. On the occasion, Additional Chief Secretary (Dev), Planning and Development Department, Abdul Saboor Kakar, Secretary (Implementation), Planning and Development Department, Abdullah Khan, Secretary, Roads Department, Saleem Awan, Secretary, Building Department, Ghulam Ali Baloch and other authorities were also present.
