QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Balochistan claimed to have foiled a bid to smuggle 40 tons sugar in an operation conducted Hazar Ganji Bypass area of the provincial capital on Thursday.
According to a statement issued by spokesman for Collectorate of Customs Balochistan, staff of Customs Intelligence recovered 40 tons of sugar in an operation conducted in Hazar Ganji Bypass area of Quetta.
The vehicle used for smuggling was also taken into custody. The value of the seized sugar and vehicle was reported to be Rs28 million.
