QUETTA: Government of Balochistan has directed all administrative departments for submission of summaries for the 50th meeting of Council of Common Interest (CCI) to be held on or before April 13, 2022 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Services and General Administration Department, Government of Balochistan through a most immediate circular, copy available with PPI, on Monday stated that 50th meeting of Council of Common Interests (CCI) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held on or before 13th April, 2022. All the administrative departments have been requested to move a summary on war footing basis for approval of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo regarding any issue to be placed before the upcoming CCI meeting.
It is pertinent to mention that Article 154 (1) of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan provides that the Council of Common Interest (CCI) shall formulate and regulate policies in relation to matters enumerated in Part-II of the Federal Legislative List and shall exercise supervision and control over related institutions.
Article 154 (3), inter alia, provides that the Council shall meet at least once in ninety days. The 49th meeting of CCI was held on January 13, 2022 and the 50th meeting is tentatively due to be held on or before April 13, 2022
