QUETTA: Balochistan government has asked administrative departments to maintain manual attendance instead of biometric attendance in all the blocks of Balochistan Civil Secretariat, Quetta.
Services and General Administration Department, Government of Balochistan, in a letter issued on May 19, 2021 addressed to all administrative department states that due to prevailing situation of the third wave of COVID-19, there is a great threat of increase in the rate of infection due to the use and functioning of biometric attendance in Civil Secretariat, Quetta, therefore, all administrative departments have been requested that the biometric attendance may be avoided in all the blocks of Civil Secretariat and as an alternative “Manual Attendance System” for all the employees be ensured in all the administrative departments for the time being.
