May 21 (PPI) Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bughti on Tuesday issued directives for the return of Pakistani students stranded in Kyrgyzstan.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the government of Balochistan requested for provision of aeroplane on immediate basis for the safe return of Pakistani students stranded in Kyrgyzstan owing to non-availability of seats in commercial flights.

The statement said airfare for the repatriation of students from Kyrgyzstan would be borne by the government of Balochistan.

Pakistan has so far airlifted 810 students via five flights. Today, Pakistan has repatriated 347 more citizens from Kyrgyzstan after violence broke out in Bishkek as flight no ANK-4575 landed at Islamabad International Airport from Bishkek on Tuesday early morning, while Pakistan International Airlines’ flight PK-6252 with 167 students also landed at Islamabad airport.

On Monday, a special plane, carrying Pakistani students, reached Islamabad from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam welcomed the Pakistani students at Islamabad airport.
