LAHORE:A dacoit was killed and his accomplice, and a Dolphin Force officer were injured in a shootout between them near Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore on Wednesday.
According to police, the dacoits riding a motorbike were busy looting citizens near the hospital when the Dolphin Force reached the spot, triggering shootout.
As a result, they opened fire on the Dolphin Force, leaving an officer critically injured who received two bullets in the chest. A bandit died and his accomplice suffered injuries in the crossfire.
Furthermore, a hotel employee was also injured in firing between the police and the dacoits. Further investigation into the incident was underway.
