DAHERKI: Bandits on Monday demanded Rs5 million ransom for release of two youngsters kidnapped from Daherki three days back.
According to victim’s heirs, Abid Dahar and Akbar Kanjo were kidnapped three days back from Daheri area following which they made hectic search for their whereabouts and at last, they had now received a phone call from the bandits who demanded Rs5 million ransom for the release of two kidnapees.
The heirs told media that they were poor people and could not pay such a huge ransom to the bandits. They appealed to the authorities concerned to play their due role for the release of the two abductees with immediate effect so that they could take a sigh of relief.
