LARKANA: Unknown armed bikers looted a citizen of Rs3.2 million when he was going to deposit the cash in a private bank in Larkana on Monday.

The criminal incident took place near Kennedy Market of the city within the limits of the Market police station when they looted Mashooque Jokhio.

Jokhio told reporters that he is a resident of Latif Colony and he took the cash from his Medicos office to deposit in a private bank located on Bunder Road when he was suddenly intercepted by armed unknown motorcyclists near Kenny Market who forcibly snatched the cash and escaped displaying arms in their hands. He said he immediately informed the area police of Market police station who arrived and got details of the incident but did nothing to recover the looted money or to chase them.

He urged the higher police authorities to recover the looted huge amount without loss of time and earn blessings. It must be mentioned here that lawlessness has ruined lives of many people in the district as thefts, lootings, bike snatching and stealing has increased manifold along with open sale of narcotics and gambling dens.
