The Syndicate of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBS-UTech) Khairpur, after detailed consultation on the academic and administrative affairs of the institution, has approved important decisions regarding the appointments and promotions of officers.
The 10th meeting was organized today at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat of the university. The proceedings began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Dr. Aftab Ahmed Soomro, followed by the introduction of all participants.
Initially, the Vice Chancellor warmly welcomed the esteemed members of the Syndicate and expressed deep gratitude for their participation. Special thanks were extended to Member of Provincial Assembly Tanzila Um Habiba, Syed Asad Ali Shah, Dr. Noman Abid (Nominated Member of Sindh Higher Education Commission), Dr. Munir Ahmed Mir Jat (Nominated Member of HEC Islamabad), Special Secretary, Universities and Boards Department, Government of Sindh, Sohail Anwar Baloch, Additional Advocate General, Sindh High Court, Liaqat Ali Shar, Dr. Ghulam Jafar Soomro, and other esteemed faculty and administrative staff.
During the meeting, the Syndicate carefully reviewed the agenda items and discussed important matters related to the academic and operational aspects of the university. After thorough discussion, the institution endorsed key decisions based on the recommendations of the selection board, which included matters related to the promotion and appointment of officers.
The meeting concluded with a pledge that the Syndicate would continue its efforts to strengthen institutional governance, promote merit-based processes, and further elevate the university’s academic and professional standards.
