The largest Eid-ul-Adha prayer gathering in Karachi, organized by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, is set to take place at the historic Gulshan-e-Jinnah (Polo Ground) with preparations reaching their peak.
Scheduled for 8:00 AM, this gathering, a tradition since 1958, draws the city’s biggest crowd of worshippers. Extensive arrangements are underway to ensure smooth facilitation for attendees.
The grand event will see participation from an array of dignitaries including Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad, diplomats from various Islamic nations, federal and provincial ministers, lawmakers, and numerous notable citizens.
Preparatory measures include embellishing entry and exit routes, establishing ablution facilities, and conducting thorough disinfection and fragrance spraying. Enhanced cleanliness and stringent security protocols are being implemented as per the directives of Mayor Karachi to guarantee a serene and orderly prayer experience for all citizens.
