Toronto, December 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): The State Bank of Pakistan has exempted overseas Pakistanis from biometric verification requirement by permitting banks to utilize NADRA Verisys instead of biometric verification. As an alternative to biometric verification, non-resident Pakistanis/overseas Pakistani customers can provide reasonable evidence/proof regarding their residency status (i.e. copy of valid passport, visa, CNIC, NICOP, etc.) to their banks for operating their accounts.
