A significant increase was seen in the value of precious metals in the local market, the per tola price of 24 karat gold saw a substantial increase of Rs 2,700, after which its price became Rs 453,562.
Following this upward trend, on Wednesday the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 2,315 to Rs 388,856. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold reached a new level of Rs 356,464 with an increase of Rs 2,122.
A significant bullish trend was also seen in the silver market. The per tola price of 24 karat silver increased by Rs 290 to Rs 6,822, while the price of 10 grams of 24 karat silver increased by Rs 248 and closed at Rs 5,848.
This bullish trend in the local market was a reflection of the global market trends, where the international price of gold increased by $27 to $4,312. The international price of silver also increased and closed at $65.50, up by $2.9.
