QUETTA: Kashif Ali, Spokesperson for Ittehad-e-Tajiran, Balochistan, has called on authorities to ensure providing pure drinking water from the government run water supply schemes to the residents of Hazara Town area of the provincial capital besides addressing the issue of gas load shedding in Hazara Town.

Addressing a press conference with others at Quetta Press Club here on Saturday, he said scarcity of water in Hazara Town and its adjoining areas had made the lives of the people miserable, adding that tanker mafia sold one tanker of water from six to eight thousand rupees. He added that in that scorching heat, unannounced outages of gas had added to the miseries of the residents of Hazara Town and its adjacent areas.

He called on Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili and other authorities to ensure providing pure drinking water from the government run water supply schemes besides addressing the issue of gas load shedding in Hazara Town and its adjoining areas.
