Call to resolve Kashmir issue

TOBA TEK SINGH: India is creating a new history of human rights violations, for which the international nations should play their full role; otherwise the region may be engulfed in severe unrest.

The nations that believe in human freedom and democracy should support the Kashmiris in order to face the goal of Kashmir’s independence. The Kashmir problem has become the center of attention of the world and Pakistan has to think beyond political affiliations. said Chairman of International Human Rights Movement, Rana Basharat Ali Khan, while speaking at a ceremony organized under the auspices of International Human Rights Movement regarding Kashmir Solidarity Day.

He said that it was a difficult task for the international community to end its indifference. He further said that Pakistan is going through the most difficult period in its history and all political parties should unite and think of Pakistan first. The issue of Kashmir has attracted the attention of the whole world, while India is creating a new history of human rights violations, so the United Nations should play its full role; otherwise, the region may be engulfed in severe insecurity.

Rana Bisharat further said due to the silence of the international community, India had intensified atrocities on Kashmiris. There is an urgent need for practical measures to solve the Kashmir issue. Addressing the ceremony and talking to the media, he said that due to the indifference and silence of the international community, the race of Muslims in India-occupied Kashmir is being destroyed.

He said that Britain is also an eyewitness of the Kashmir issue, it should also take practical steps to resolve the Kashmir issue and the Kashmiri struggle will continue. The nations that believe in human freedoms and democracy should support the Kashmiris so that they can achieve the goal of Kashmiri independence.
