IOK: (JKFM welcomes Trump’s mediation offer on Kashmir dispute)

ISLAMABAD:Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement (JKFM) Muhammad Sharif Sartaj has welcomed US President Donald Trump’s mediation offer on the Kashmir dispute.

In a statement in Jammu, he expressed his concerns that Kashmir is a dispute between the two nuclear-armed neighbour countries which could any time take the situation towards the atomic war.

He also thanked the government of Pakistan for projecting the Kashmir cause at the international level effectively.

Meanwhile, Senior APHC leader Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has said that India is practicing all the methods of coercion and oppression against Kashmiris.

He said occupation authorities are deliberately prolonging illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders, which is a blatant human rights violation.

SAPM: (PM’s Kamyab Jawan Programme to collaborate with MPS for effective outreach campaign)

ISLAMABAD:Muhammad Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs called on Murad Saeed, Federal Minister for Postal Services to explore areas of mutual cooperation for launching an effective awareness campaign to ensure better outreach of various initiatives of Kamyab Jawan Programme for the socio-economic development of youth across Pakistan.

It was agreed in the meeting that Ministry of Postal Services will collaborate with Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme to launch a robust public awareness campaign of all its youth-focused initiatives through a vast network of its 3200 post offices located all across the country.

Moreover, it was agreed in the meeting that e-postal services would be provided to facilitate people through Community Business Centres, which would be set up across Pakistan under Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) of Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme, says a statement issued here on Friday.

Community Business Centre would be a one stop solution for all the major public facilities like applying for CNIC, applying for passport, paying utility bills, using postal services etc.

Muhammad Usman Dar thanked Murad Saeed for his Ministry’s commitment and support in collaboration with Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Progamme for serving the youth of Pakistan.

Minister: (Govt to provide all possible facilities to investors: Minister)

ISLAMABAD:Punjab Energy Minister Dr Akhtar Malik has said that the government will provide all possible facilities to the investors.

He said this during his meeting with the British delegation led by Chairmen of Marsh Insurance and Risk Management Company Perry Green in Lahore on Friday.

Matters related to mutual interests, Bhikki Power Plant and other projects were discussed.

SAPM: (PM’s successful visit to US restored world community’s confidence in Pakistan: Dr Firdous)

ISLAMABAD:Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that successful visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the United States has restored confidence of the world community in Pakistan.

Talking to media at Sehwan Sharif, she said the country will now move in the right direction towards progress and prosperity.

She said the opposition has started confrontational politics to malign sanctity of the upper house of the parliament and wants to keep it under their control.

She said the government wants upper house to function as per constitution and we will take constitutional way to run this house.

Firdous Ashiq Awan the people of Sehwan Sharif have been denied of their basic needs of clean drinking water and health facilities.

Dipl: (Maleeha Lodhi elected vice president of UN ECOSOC)

ISLAMABAD:The Economic and Social Council of the United Nations has unanimously elected Pakistan’s Ambassador to UN, Maleeha Lodhi, as one of its four vice presidents.

Ambassador Lodhi’s election was endorsed by 54 members of the Asia Pacific Group.

She will now assume the Asia

Pacific seat in the Bureau of ECOSOC, a principal organ of the UN mandated to deliberate on socio-economic and development agenda of the world body.

Talking to reporters after the vote, Ambassador Lodhi said that her election to such an important organ demonstrates the faith of international community in Pakistan and the competence of its diplomats.

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is marking Youm-e-Tashakur today (Thursday) on the first anniversary of 2018 general elections.

In a series of tweets on Thursday, Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said the aspirations of people and twenty three year old political struggle of Imran Khan bore fruit in the general elections last year.

The Special Assistant said 25th July is the day of expression of public opinion as on this day the people gave a strong support to the mission of purging the country of corruption.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said those who used the politics for loot and plunder are being brought to justice. She said the nation has rejected their dynastic politics.
