CDA sold 42 plots worth over around Rs 40 billion during 3rd-day open auction

Islamabad, January 26, 2023 (PPI-OT):Capital Development Authority sold 42 plots worth Rs 40.956 billion in the three-day open auction of residential and commercial plots in Islamabad. It should be noted that the proceeds from the auction are the highest among all public auctions held so far.

The auction was supervised by the auction committee headed by CDA Member Finance. The committee made effective arrangements to make public auctions transparent and competitive. Due to which the investors actively participated in the bidding and got the plots according to their choice.

Chairman CDA Captain (retd) Noor ul Amin Mengal appreciated the effective steps taken by the auction committee, transparency and successful public auction. It should be noted that on the three days of the auction, residential and commercial plots of different categories in various developed sectors of Islamabad, including commercial areas, were the focus of investors’ attention.

Chairman Capital Development Authority Captain (retd) Noor ul Amin Mengal, while meeting the investors on the last day of the auction, also thanked them and said that a special desk will be established soon in the One Window Directorate to secure their investments. Investors should not face any kind of difficulties.

Moreover, on this occasion, the CDA administration said that the proceeds from the auction will be used to accelerate the development activities of the city. In particular, development activities that have been stalled for a long time will be completed on a priority basis.
