Lahore, October 13, 2018 (PPI-OT): Chairpersons of different horticulture and development authorities called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office on Friday. Talking on the occasion, the chief minister said that you have to work in an innovative way to beautify the cities. The citizens have attached great expectations towards the government and you have to deliver to earn honor.
He said that every effort should be made to improve facilities in different cities adding that work should be done in an innovative manner to improve the overall beauty of the cities. It is the responsibility of the concerned agencies to provide different facilities to the citizens, he added. Horticulture and development authorities are fully empowered and maintaining cleanliness of cities is the mission of the government. You have to act as vanguard in the campaign of clean and green Pakistan, he said.
You are empowered as like my ministers. You should work hard with diligence and produce the desire results, he added. I am with you at every moment. However, officers or the officials showing negligence or leniency have no right to stay on their posts, he added. Provincial minister Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid said that immediate steps should be taken to complete the authorities’ boards. Provincial minister for housing Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid, secretary housing and DG LDA were also present.
