Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, praised the services of nurses on the occasion of International Nursing Day. He described nurses as the backbone of the healthcare system, calling their role unforgettable and saluting their services.

The Chief Minister expressed his commitment to resolving the issues faced by nurses and stated that respecting nurses is a duty for all of us. He further mentioned that the professional services of nurses are appreciated worldwide, and their spirit of service and professional skills are commendable.

Syed Murad Ali Shah stated that the Sindh government is committed to the development of the nursing sector. He explained that efforts are ongoing for the education, training, and welfare of nurses.

The Chief Minister noted that nurses in Sindh have always fulfilled their duties responsibly. The government has taken numerous steps for the development of nursing, including increasing the number of nursing colleges and improving their quality.

He mentioned that the Sindh government has expanded opportunities for those aspiring to pursue nursing education. The People’s Party government has significantly increased nurses’ salaries and provided financial benefits. Measures have also been taken to promote research in nursing.
