Chief Minister takes notice of the killing of four people in a tribal dispute, orders immediate action

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has ordered immediate action after the killing of four people, including a woman, during a violent tribal dispute in Khairpur.

In a statement issued from the Chief Minister’s House on Saturday, the Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over this deadly incident, which began from a disagreement within the Junejo community.

In response to the killings, the Chief Minister has sought a comprehensive report on the matter from the Commissioner and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Sukkur.

He issued a stern directive, stating, “Those involved must be brought to justice,” emphasizing the government’s commitment to holding the perpetrators accountable.

Furthermore, instructions have also been issued to strengthen the security presence in the affected area to restore law and order and establish peace.

Chief Minister Shah stressed the administration’s primary duty, stating, “The protection of the public’s lives and property must be ensured at all costs.”
