PANJGUR: A resident of Punjab was shot dead by unidentified armed men near College Road area of Panjgur in Balochistan province on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, a resident of Loadra Punjab, who was running barber shop along college road, was gunned down by unidentified armed men on College Road area of Panjgur. The assailants managed to escape after committing the crime. The victim was identified as Ismail, son of Allah Dita, a resident of Chahpabli Wala, Lodra, Punjab.
His body was shifted to Teaching Hospital Panjgur for completion of codal formalities. The body was later sent to ancestral area for burial after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities. Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities of concerned police station.
SIBI MISHAP: Six persons sustained injuries after a swift vehicle collided with Mazda truck near Haji Shehr area of Sibbi in Balochistan province on Wednesday. According to rescue sources, a Swift vehicle collided with Mazda truck near Haji Shehr area of Sibbi, resultantly, six persons sustained injuries. The injured, identified as Muhammad Younas Soomro, Arbaz Soomro, Qayyum Soomro, Faraz Soomro, Muhammad Kaif and Tariq Hussain, were rushed to Civil Hospital, Sibbi for treatment.
