Command Orders Urgent Action on Serious Inquiries Affecting islamabad Police

Senior police officials have been directed to immediately conclude inquiries into matters of a serious nature concerning police personnel, following a formal grievance hearing held by the SSP Security division, Capt. (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider.

According to a police report today, the session, known as an orderly room, was convened in the SSP”s office under a special directive from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to directly address the professional and personal problems of law enforcement officers.

During the hearing, Capt. (R) Haider also instructed relevant officials to resolve all remaining issues faced by the staff on a priority basis, affirming that ensuring a timely resolution of such matters is the department”s “foremost priority.”

This initiative is part of a wider mandate from the IG Islamabad, which requires all senior police officers to conduct similar orderly rooms to listen to the concerns of their subordinates and ensure swift remedies.

Officials stated the purpose of these sessions is to enhance the welfare of police officers, resolve their personal and official issues, and boost morale. The effort is complemented by several other welfare initiatives, including improvements to housing, quality medical facilities, and better education standards for personnel.

The SSP Security assured the officers that his office door remains consistently open for them to address any kind of issue, adding a call for a collective effort to improve the city.
