Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Commissioner Muzaffar Ahmed Mirza on Wednesday met with President National Defense University Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar and congratulated the university’s president on assuming office and praised NDU’s key role as a premier institution for strategic studies.
Mr. Mirza explained that this transfer of portfolio provides a significant opportunity for Pakistan to strengthen its economic prospects, improve its position on the global stage, and harmonize regulatory reforms to bring in more foreign investment.
