Congo virus threat looms over South Punjab, 3 patients admitted to SZH

Rahim Yar Khan:A serious threat of Congo Virus loomed over Rahim Yar Khan as three patients have been admitted to the Sheikh Zayed Hospital (SZH) on Friday.

According to all three patients admitted to the Sheikh Zayed Hospital are butchers by their profession. The administration of the SZH has admitted all these three suspected Congo virus patients to the intensive care unit (ICU).

The hospital authorities have also sent the blood samples of these patients to Islamabad for confirmation of the Congo virus. The patients are identified as Fida Hussain, 22, from Mohalla Sadat, 22-year-old Mubashir and 17-year-old Hamza are both residents of Mohalla Qamarabad in Rahim Yar Khan.
