Construction of 28 roads at a cost of 5 billion rupees is ongoing in Karachi SITE, more than 90% work has been completed

A significant meeting for the immediate completion of development projects was held today, chaired by Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo.

During the meeting, Secretary of Industry and Commerce, Shadia Jafar, presented a comprehensive update on the progress of ongoing initiatives under the Public Sector Development Program in the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE) area. It was revealed that 28 roads are under construction, involving an investment of 5 billion rupees. According to Shadia Jafar, more than 90% of this infrastructure development has already been completed.

Minister Dharejo emphasized the need to expedite the remaining work, stressing that all projects should be completed as soon as possible. He assured the participants that he would personally inspect the quality of these projects and emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency during this process.

The meeting highlighted the administration’s commitment to improving local infrastructure, promising a better transportation network that will benefit both trade and the broader community.
