Quetta:Accountability Court-I Quetta acquitted former Additional Chief Secretary Hafiz Abdul Basit and former Secretary Local Government Faisal Jamal in a mega corruption case.

During the course of hearing, former Advisor to Chief Minister for Finance Mir Khalid Langove, former Additional Chief Secretary, Hafiz Abdul Basit, former Secretary Finance Mushtaq Raisani and former Secretary Local Government Faisal Jamal appeared before the court. Counsel of Defence submitted U/S 265 before the court on behalf of Faisal Jamal and Hafiz Abdul Basit.
Accepting the plea of counsel, court acquitted Hafiz Abdul Basit and Faisal Jamal of the case. Prosecutor Rashid Zaib Golra appeared before the court on behalf of NAB. Hearing of the mega corruption case was adjourned until September 22.
