Crime rate in Naundero on the rise

NAUNDERO: As many as four incidents of thefts were reported in a single night from Panjudero village near here on Tuesday.

According to details, shops of Fateh Dayo and Gulshan Dayo were looted, Chingchi of Fareed Dayo was stolen and private bank employee Bilawal Soomro was forcibly robbed of his cash, mobile phones and other valuables after making him captive.

The affected people said that SHO Shahid Memon and DSP Shahjahan Shah of Naundero Police Station are posted here for years despite repeated complaints against them but have miserably failed to curb crimes and the offenders committed by the known criminals. They said that both the police officers are enjoying political backing of local influential people for their ulterior motives who need to be exposed before their party leadership for their nefarious designs.

They said two buffaloes were stolen a night before from the house of Rajib Mangnejo of Hassan Wahan and transformer coils were also taken away from Rice Tubewell near Rice Canal which have neither yet been recovered along with the other material the residents have lost at the hands of a criminal gang before not the gang have been taken to task.

The citizens and the affected villagers have urged PPP leadership to take notice of the criminal activities immediately or else they will be losing their support. They also urged higher police officers to bring both the police officers to justice and the criminal activities in Naundero and order recovery of all looted and robbed goods.
