PISHIN:Collectorate of Customs Balochistan claimed to have seized foreign currency and 200 hundred expensive wrist watches in an operation conducted in Yaru area of district Pishin in Balochistan province on Friday.

One alleged accused was also arrested during the operation besides taking over the vehicle used for smuggling. According to a statement issued by the spokesperson for Collectorate of Customs Balochistan, staff of customs seized foreign currency, including two lacs US dollars and nine lac Saudi Riyal, and 200 expensive wrist watches from the hidden cavities of a vehicle in an operation conducted at Customs Check Post, Yaru.

One alleged accused, whose name could not be ascertained till writing this report, was also apprehended during the operation apart from taking over the vehicle used for smuggling. Operation was conducted by Inspector Bashir Wazir, Jamil Kakar and other staff of Customs posted at Customs Check Post, Yaru in compliance with the directives of Collector of Customs, Khalid Jamali. Further investigation was underway.
