Daylight Robbery in Nasirabad: Rs 500,000 Looted from Trader’s Son, Two Arrested

In a daylight robbery in armed suspects looted Rs 500,000 from the son of trader Wajid Ali Lodro of the Food and Grain Merchant Association before fleeing the scene. Later, police arrested two suspects in action, while traders staged a protest outside the police station.

According to details, police immediately launched an operation after the incident and detained two suspects, while further investigation is underway.

Following the incident, strong protests were held by the Food and Grain Merchant Association Nasirabad and the Citizen Alliance Nasirabad.

The protesters, led by Mashooq Ali Phulpoto, Ibrahim Bhutto, Waseem Bhatti, Ashiq Ali Kalhoro, Abdul Aziz Maghari, Dildad Airi and others, along with Citizen Alliance Nasirabad President Singar Nonari and Khuda Bakhsh Sanghro, staged a sit-in outside the police station gate.

The leaders stated that rising lawlessness in the city has become a matter of concern for traders.

They demanded the immediate arrest of all those involved in the robbery and the recovery of the looted money, as well as the restoration of law and order in the city.

The protesters warned that if their demands were not accepted, the scope of the protest would be expanded further.
