GWADAR:Major (Retd) Abdul Kabeer Zarkoon, Deputy Commissioner, Gwadar, has said that the installation of electric poles and filling of ground structures be carried out with concrete in order to avoid any untoward situation.
These views were expressed by him during inspection of installation of electric poles on Airport Road on Tuesday. Taking notice of the installation of electric poles and filling of ground structures with mud, he directed the concerned authorities to use cement during installation and filling of ground structures so that any untoward situation could be avoided.
On the occasion, he issued directives to the authorities of WAPDA to adhere to the principles of safety and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during construction work.
