CHAMAN: Juma Dad Khan Mandokhail, Deputy Commissioner, Chaman has said that if doctors and staff of District Headquarters Hospital, Chaman, one of the biggest hospitals in the district, remained absent from their duties, who would provide healthcare facilities to the patients.
These views were expressed by him during surprise visit to DHQ Hospital, Chaman on Saturday. Expressing annoyance over the absence of doctors and staff, he said that no compromise would be made on the absence of doctors and staff.
He added that strict disciplinary proceedings in accordance with the rules in vogue would be initiated against the absent staff. He said next time before going to his office, he would pay a visit to DHQ Hospital, Chaman to see whether healthcare facilities were being provided to the patients or not. He added that those doctors found running their private clinics would be dealt with strictly.
