SIBI: Deputy Commissioner, Sibbi, Syed Zahid Shah, has said that besides government departments, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) would have to play due role for uplifting District Sibbi of Balochistan province.
These views were expressed by him while presiding over a meeting held here on Wednesday which was attended by heads of different line departments and representatives of NGOs. He said that special attention was required to be paid to the completion of collective nature of development schemes initiated for the welfare of people so that its fruition could reach to the people at grass root level.
Urging representatives of NGOs to continue rendering services for the welfare of people, he said that district administration was ready to extend maximum possible assistance in that regard. The meeting was attended, inter alia, by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sibbi, Waheed Sharif Umrani, Director Social Welfare Department, Sibbi, Din Muhammad Marri, representatives of Shaheen Arts and Educational Development Society, Sibbi and Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Sibbi chapter.
