QUETTA: Baloch Yakjehti Committee, BSO (Bijar) and Baloch Women Forum on Sunday staged a protest sit-in near red zone area of the provincial capital against enforced disappearance of Baloch women.
The protest sit-in under the aegis of Baloch Yakjehti Committee, Baloch Student Organization (Bijar) and Baloch Women Forum was staged near red-zone area of Quetta, demanding an end to enforced disappearance of Baloch women and lodging fake First Information Reports (F.I.Rs) against Baloch women.
Earlier, BYC, BSO (Bijar) and BWF took out rally from University of Balochistan. Chanting slogans “Jibri Gumshudgi Na Manzoor” enforced disappearance not acceptable, “Tamam Lapata Afrad ko reha karu” release all the missing persons and “CTD ki ghunda gardi, nahe chale gi” bullying of CTD will not run, participants of rally marched through different roads and reached red zone near Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Governors house where a protest sit-in was observed.
The protest sit-in was addressed by Dr. Marung Baloch, Chairperson, Baloch Yekjehti Committee, Zubair Baloch, Chairman, Baloch Students Organization (Bijar), and others. Protest sit-in near red zone continued till writing this report.
