The Meteorological Department announced on Tuesday that moderate to dense fog is likely to prevail in the plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during night and morning hours, while a severe cold wave will continue in the hilly areas of the country.
According to the forecast for the next twelve hours, the weather will remain severely cold and dry in most parts of the country.
In contrast, in some places of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, along with partly cloudy skies, there is also a possibility of light rain and snowfall.
