A person illegally detained at a police post in Mirpurkhas was recovered on court orders, after which a case has been registered against several police officials and private individuals. Muhammad Qasim Arain was recovered from Baloch Abad police post by Judicial Magistrate Third Mirpurkhas.
Later, an FIR was registered at Taluka Police Station against two inspectors, one sub-inspector, one assistant sub-inspector, and two constables. Four citizens, identified as Muhammad Akhtar, Riaz Hussain, Amjad, and Asghar Arain, have also been implicated in the case.
The complaint was lodged by Salima Akhtar. DSP Satellite Town Police, Aslam Jagirani, has been assigned to investigate the alleged abduction. The individuals named in the FIR are accused of kidnapping.
