The weather in most parts of the country is hot and humid, thunderstorms with strong winds and rain expected in Kashmir, eastern Sindh

The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast today indicating severe heat and humidity in most parts of the country, which may be uncomfortable for many residents.

In contrast to widespread heat, some areas may find relief from the heat. Relief is expected due to thunderstorms with strong winds and rain in the evening and night in Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Punjab, Balochistan, and southeastern Sindh.

Morning temperatures in major cities reflect the day’s heat: In Islamabad, the temperature was recorded at 26°C, while in Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar, it was 29°C. Quetta experienced a slightly cool morning, with the temperature recorded at 25°C, while Gilgit and Murree were quite cool, with temperatures recorded at 19°C and 16°C, respectively. In Muzaffarabad, the temperature was recorded at 23°C.

Citizens in affected areas are advised to stay updated with weather updates and take necessary precautions, especially in areas where storms are expected. The possibility of severe weather conditions highlights the need for preparedness against sudden changes.
