DFP decides to issue bulletins about Shabbir Shah’s health

Srinagar, April 30, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has said that the party chairman Shabbir Ahmad Shah is seriously ill in Delhi’s notorious Tihar jail, and DFP has decided to issue bulletins about his health twice in a month.

A DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said the seriousness of his ailments can be understood by the fact that Shabbir Shah is not able to stand for more than five minutes. “Taking into consideration the falling health of Shabbir Shah and concern shown by the people of all walks of life, the DFP has decided to issue health bulletins about Shabbir Shah twice in a month,” the spokesman added.

The statement saluted all those incarcerated leaders along with Shabbir Shah, activists and common people languishing in different jails since long only for their political stance about Kashmir dispute. “Since none of the allegations against them including Shabbir Shah has been proven, so we call their continued incarceration as political vendetta,” the spokesman added.

“We repeatedly cautioned the authorities in New Delhi and their local agents to provide suitable medical facilities to our leader whose life is in danger due to the ailments. The irony is that the jail authorities did not provide him necessary medical facilities which Shabbir Shah needs urgently,” the spokesman deplored.

“This attitude of authorities has not only diminished the Indian judiciary but also revealed the ill intentions of New Delhi and its local collaborators about Shabbir Shah.” “A team of doctors recently, conducted a test of Shabbir Shah which was related to neurology. The test and monitoring was conducted for 14 hours inside the jail. His heart related tests are not good,” the statement said.
