On the occasion of the World Day for Intercultural Dialogue, Governor Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi, declared dialogue, tolerance, and mutual respect as the fundamental pillars for sustainable peace in the current regional conditions.
Governor Hashmi, in a statement today, highlighted Pakistan’s longstanding commitment to peace and stability, emphasizing its role in positively promoting international relations. He said that the nation has always supported regional peace efforts by adopting a responsible and balanced stance during challenging times.
Instead of engaging in a clash of civilizations, the Governor advocated for dialogue, cooperation, and mutual trust as the present era’s necessities. He stressed the importance of resolving differences through negotiations and constructive communication, calling it a collective duty of the global community.
The Governor reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting tolerance, interfaith harmony, and global cooperation. He emphasized that mutual trust and dialogue are effective tools in addressing global challenges.
