Following a strict directive issued by Deputy Commissioner Ms. Farida Tareen, the contracts of absent, negligent, or underperforming health department personnel in Sohbatpur will not be renewed.
This directive was issued today during a regular meeting of the District Health Committee (DHC), chaired by Ms. Tareen. The meeting was attended by the District Health Officer and other members of the committee.
The committee conducted a detailed review of the overall performance of the health department. The deliberations also included important topics such as disciplinary action against absent staff and the status of one-year contract extensions for existing personnel.
In her remarks, the Deputy Commissioner stressed that the principles of transparency, merit, and discipline must be upheld in the health department at all costs. She emphasized that full compliance with government regulations is mandatory and will not be compromised.
