Naushehro Feroze: In the light of the instructions of the Provincial Ombudsman, consultant in charge of the Regional Ombudsman Office Naushehro Feroze Ahmed Bakhsh Ghumro during an open court listened to the complaints of the employees and pensioners filed against the district accounts office, here on Wednesday.
The employees of various departments, especially retired employees, filed petitions against the District Accounts Office. They also submitted complaints, mostly related to non-payment of commutation and gratuity, LPR and some other bills.
The District Accounts Officer was ordered to pay the arrears as soon as possible. District Accounts Officer Amjad Ahmed Mughal said that problems occurred due to less amount of funds received from the Sindh government. He said they had made a list and payments would be made according to seniority as soon as the money was received while efforts would be made to pay the complainants’ bills promptly.
