Ghotki:A couple fleeing homes to get marriage was arrested from Daherki on Saturday.
Ali Nawaz Punjabi, a resident of Sadiqabad, and Salman Shaikh, hailing from village Qamaruddin Rukk, left their homes and were going to get marriage somewhere when Ghotki’s B-Section police accompanied by girl’s heirs arrested them on Daherki Bypass.
The police said that the girl would be presented before a Ghotki court for recording the statement. Further investigation was underway, they said.
