Karachi, January 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): District west police recovered huge quantity of smuggled betel nuts after three successful raids in Manghopir and Madina colony areas worth Rs 13.392 million. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) district West Shoukat Ali Khatian addressing a press conference said Manghopir and Madina colony police recovered betel nuts from Shehzore mini truck and a loading truck during checking.
SSP further stated that out of total 239 and weighing 6320 smuggled betel nuts were seized, the worth of smuggled betel nuts is Rs 13.392 million of in the market. Cases have been registered and further investigation started.
