Riyadh: Federal Minister Dr. Musadik Malik emphasized the importance of international collaboration in the mining industry during a panel discussion at the Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh. His remarks underscored Pakistan’s dedication to enhancing its mining sector by fostering cooperation between public and private sectors.



According to a statement by Press Information Department, the Future Minerals Forum, now in its second day, has attracted more than 20,000 registered visitors, including ministers, mining professionals, and investors. The event is recognized as a significant gathering for global mining industry stakeholders.



The Pakistan Pavilion emerged as a focal point of the forum, drawing considerable attention from attendees. Dr. Musadik Malik, who also serves as Pakistan’s Minister of Petroleum and Water Resources, visited the pavilion to assess its exhibits and praised Pakistan Petroleum Limited for its organizational efforts.



Investors from Turkey, China, and Chile showed interest in Pakistan’s expanding mining opportunities and sought further information on potential investments. The Pakistan delegation, including key figures such as Dr. Musadik Malik and Imran Abbasy, Managing Director of Pakistan Petroleum Limited, hosted a 90-minute session to discuss the nation’s mining investment climate and strategic vision for growth.
