Dry weather across the country, cold weather forecast in mountainous areas in the morning and night hours

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, the weather is likely to remain dry in most parts of the country, while a cold wave will persist in the mountainous areas in the morning and night hours.

A significant difference was observed in the temperatures recorded on Monday morning in the major urban centers of the country. The highest temperature was recorded in Karachi at twenty-one degrees Celsius, while the famous tourist destination Murree was the coldest with six degrees.

Temperatures of other cities recorded this morning include Lahore nineteen, Muzaffarabad twelve, Peshawar eleven, Quetta nine, the capital Islamabad eight and Gilgit seven degrees Celsius.

The forecast also includes illegally Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where authorities have predicted cold and dry weather in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramulla and Leh.

In contrast, dry weather is expected in the Jammu region.
