Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, according to the meteorological department, while the intensity of cold has increased in the northern areas where the temperature dropped to six degrees in Quetta and five degrees in Gilgit.
The department’s forecast for Wednesday stated that an exception to the dry weather is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, where partly cloudy skies with a chance of light rain are likely.
Significant differences were observed in the temperatures recorded in the morning in major urban centers. Karachi was the warmest with twenty-five degrees Celsius, followed by Lahore at nineteen degrees. Peshawar recorded thirteen, Islamabad eleven, while Murree and Muzaffarabad both had cooler weather at seven degrees.
The bulletin also included a forecast for “Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” stating that the weather in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla will remain partly cloudy. In contrast, Jammu is expected to have dry weather.
In this region, the early morning temperature in Leh was recorded at minus four degrees Celsius. Anantnag and Shopian were at four degrees, while Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramulla were at three degrees. The morning temperature in Jammu was a relatively warmer sixteen degrees.
