The Meteorological Department has forecast that mostly dry weather will prevail across the country during the next 24 hours.
The temperature readings of major cities on Wednesday morning present different weather scenarios: Islamabad was recorded at 15 degrees Celsius, Lahore a slightly warmer 19 degrees Celsius, and a moderate 24 degrees Celsius in Karachi. Peshawar was at 18 degrees Celsius, while the higher altitudes of Quetta and Murree remained cold at 9 degrees Celsius. A coolness of 7 degrees Celsius was observed in Gilgit, while Muzaffarabad recorded 12 degrees Celsius.
According to the forecast for Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain with partly cloudy skies in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag. On the other hand, only partly cloudy skies are expected in Jammu, Leh, Shopian, and Baramulla. Temperature readings show a coolness of 7 degrees Celsius in Srinagar, Shopian, and Baramulla, while Jammu has a moderate temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. Leh has a freezing cold of 0 degrees Celsius, while Pulwama and Anantnag are at 6 degrees Celsius.
