The Meteorological Department has forecast that the weather will remain mostly dry in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, while there will be a significant drop in temperature in the northern areas during the night and morning hours.
In the morning hours, the temperatures in different cities were as follows: Islamabad 15 degrees Celsius, Lahore 22 degrees, Karachi 26 degrees, Peshawar 20 degrees, while Quetta recorded 10 degrees Celsius. In hilly areas like Gilgit and Murree, temperatures were 13 and 8 degrees respectively, while Muzaffarabad witnessed a cool morning at 14 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, dry weather is also forecast to continue in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where the weather will remain dry in areas like Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. In Leh, the temperature is expected to drop to 0 degrees Celsius in the morning. A cold of 8 degrees was recorded in Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian, while Jammu remained relatively warm with a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. In Pulwama and Baramulla, a temperature of 7 degrees Celsius was noted in the morning.
