E-Taxi Scheme Introduced for Unemployed Youth in Punjab

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the “E-Taxi Scheme” in Punjab, which has been prepared by the government to provide significant economic assistance to youth and address the province’s major unemployment challenges.

It was officially stated today that the aim of this program is to pave new avenues of prosperity for the youth of Punjab.

Through a fully transparent digital system, modern electric vehicles will be provided to eligible youth solely on merit. This eliminates the need for personal recommendations and promotes a system of self-reliance.

Participants in this scheme are expected to benefit from low operating costs, resulting in increased personal savings, along with installment plans for vehicle acquisition also being available.

In addition to economic objectives, this initiative is also expected to play a significant role in an environmentally sustainable and pollution-free future by promoting the use of electric vehicles in Punjab.
