Educator and Police Officer Fatally Shot in Separate Balochistan Attacks

A female school teacher and a police havildar were killed in two distinct acts of violence across Balochistan on Thursday, prompting a police investigation into the incidents and plunging a local community into mourning.

In the first incident, unidentified attackers opened fire at the entrance of the Government Girls High School in Allahabad, Sibi, killing a female educator, according to rescue sources.

The victim was identified as the sister of Malik Sajid Khan Bangulzai, a General Councillor for the Municipal Committee Sibi. Her remains were transported to Sibi hospital for the completion of medico-legal procedures before being released to her family. The killing has created an atmosphere of grief in the victim’s home.

In a separate attack in Dera Murad Jamali, Police Havildar Ali Gohar Magsi was gunned down by unknown assailants in the High School Road area.

The perpetrators managed to flee the scene following the crime. The officer’s body was taken to a local hospital for requisite legal and medical formalities and was subsequently given to his next of kin. Concerned authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
