Srinagar, July 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an elderly man committed suicide by setting himself ablaze in Bandipora district.
The 70-year-old man set himself on fire in Quilmuqam area of the district.
The family shifted him to a Bandipora hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, the local police said.
The official said that it was not immediately known as to why he took this extreme step.
Officials said police have started an investigation into the matter.
