ISLAMABAD: Minister for Power Khurram Dastagir Khan has said electricity in Multan and Faisalabad has been fully restored.
Addressing a news conference here in Islamabad on Thursday, he said work is also underway to restore it in other affected areas. Khurram Dastagir further said electricity transmission in Sukkur and Quetta has partially been restored. He made it clear that electricity in the rest of the areas will be restored by this evening.
The Minister for Energy said that inquiry team will determine the cause of the breakdown within four days. He said with extensive efforts of our teams, the Northern side of the country remained uninterrupted by the shutdown.
